WARNING!!!:If You are an EXTREME 1D Fan or an EXTREME Justin Bieber Fan… Disregard this or more than likely you will be hitting the unfollow button..Just sayin..
My friend texted me and asked if I had watched the VMA’s… I told her “No”. Anyways she wanted to know why and I’ll tell you why. FOR STARTERS I DO NOT HATE JUSTIN BIEBER NOR ONE DIRECTION. One Justin Bieber went to his first VMA’s he one… a lot… I knew One Direction would win tonight. The fact is when these young boy groups and young boy toy celebs in general get a really CRAZY YOUNG female fanbase it makes award shows not enjoyable to watch. Me personally I wanted Frank Ocean to win tonight. I’m not a fan of One Direction, but that does not mean in anyway that I hate them so if you are one of those crazy 1D fans.. please… Calm your tits. You might want to sit down for this… But, no, I do not think Justin Bieber nor 1D Are all that ‘Amazingly, Awesome, Sexy, Talented’ I think they were lucky. They have great voices but when I hear “VMA” I think what it stands for “VIDEO.MUSIC.AWARDS” Not “SOOOOPERRR CAUUUUTE BOYYZZ DANCINNG IN FRONT OF STUFFFFF” That would be “SCBDIFOSA” If you have never heard the song or never saw the video Frank was nominated for “Swim Good” I urge you to listen to it. Compare something as deep and emotional as that to 1D “What Makes You Beautiful” I remember watching the VMA’s before every single TV show was MAKING people famous instead of having artists who write their music. Let’s be honest. Justin Bieber and 1D appeal to young pre-pubescent barely teenagish girls (THIS COMING FROM A 17 ALMOST 18 YEAR OLD GIRL) I just think it’s hard to watch artists who write music from their soul with so much passion (ALSO, this isn’t only pertaining to Frank Ocean) lose an award. When I saw that Lil’ Wayne was nominated for song with a meaning or some shit like that for his song “How To Love” I was appalled. Please explain to me what fuck I’m supposed to feel/learn from that song. Back to the fact it’s supposed to be about videos, and using my examples (One Direction and Frank Ocean) Yes, I have witnessed the 1D video (I had no reason what so ever to feel like they were the most amazing performers ever, TBH) and you better believe I’ve seen the “Swim Good” video (Hands down one of the most keep-me-watching videos, The pain he expresses, GENIUS) I’m not saying music has to be sad to be good. It has to tell a story people can relate to. Face it, not once have you (teenage girl) walked down the hall in school and have a cute boy jump out of nowhere and tell you although you (and probably other people) think you are ugly, that in fact he thinks you have an attractive face… ALSO, Since this is getting a little TOO ranty, I’d like to say, I like ALL music genre’s just not all “artists” And if you are a 1D fan I apologize if I offended you by stereotyping you as a teenage girl, I don’t know you, you could be a 46 year old man who works in a nursing home… You never know…
